Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway Company
Incorporated under Light Railway Order in 1899.
An 8 mile line built in the 2ft 6in gauge, running through the River Manifold Valley to the North Staffordshire Railway in Waterhouses. It opened in 1904 worked by the North Staffordshire Railway and carrying predominantly dairy produce, but closed in 1934 following closure of the dairy.
Capital £72,000 including loans, £20,000 issued in £1 ordinary shares.
