A private club at Brooks alley, Church Street, primarily used for betting and gambling. We have suggested greyhounds in that an image of one appears on the company seal. but many sporting events were covered. The premises were raided by the police in September 1903 and 24 people arrested for apparent illegal betting but charges dropped. Wound up soon after 1915 but the club name was still around in the 1990’s.
