Olympia Ltd
Registered 1st October 1895. Opened in Kensington, West London 1884 as the National Agricultural Hall but changed its name in 1886 when the Paris Hippodrome was first staged there. This company was in liquidation in 1897 but the building continues until today. Many other shows put on and since 1905 has been a venue for major exhibitions, such as the Motor Show, International Horse Show, Ideal Home Exhibition and Cruft’s Dog Show. Joseph Lyons later Sir Joseph was a major caterer for such events and was a director of the company. He became best known for his Lyons Corner Houses which dominated British streets until the 1950’s.
