Peacehaven Hotel Company Ltd
Registered 1922. Dissolved <1932. Company number 181176. Peacehaven on the South Coast was a remote area of almost waste land which was promoted by C. W. Neville (He signs most certificates)and his South Coast Land and Resort Company Ltd., and became a resort of some 6,000 plots of land and this handsome hotel by 1922. Neville appeared to make a habit of promoting new towns and resorts through his First Mortgage Co-operative Trust including Kinmel Bay and Saltdean, attracting hundreds of complaints of lack of infrastructure. Several of the companies were liquidated and reconstructed over the years and finally the group of some 20 companies was under investigation by 1932.
