Société Industrielle du Radium Ltd
Registered 1912 to acquire a lease of the South Terras mine in Cornwall for the production of radium. The metal itself had been isolated by Marie Curie in 1911 and the ore from this mine was shipped to France for processing. Outbreak of WWI suspended operations but they resumed in the early 20’s. However the company failed to an action by the owner of the land and the mine passed to new lessees in 1929. Company number 125420.
