Registered 1873. Reincorporated in 1899. This Birmingham gun manufacturer was established in 1812 and obtained several patents for the improvement of rifles and shotguns in particular. Although in decline after WWII the company was acquired by Walter Clode who restored its fortunes and it still is one of the best sporting gunmakers in the world today. Dissolved <1916.
