Woking Palace Ltd
Registered 1913 to build the Palace Cinema on the corner of Duke Street and The Broadway which opened in November 1913. It boasted the largest hall in Woking, seating 1000 people, including 250 in the balcony. It also hosted theatrical and musical performances. Acquired in the 1920’s by Messrs. Cohen and Freedman of Apollo Picture Theatres, closed in October 1931 and demolished, being replaced by the Astoria, which opened the following year. Dissolved <1932. Company number 127893
