Phonopore Company Ltd
Registered as the Phonopore Syndicate in 1887. Reconstructed as this in 1892. A useful invention allowing the apparatus to be connected to the same wiring as the Morse telegraph to give simultaneous speech and telegraphy. This was of particular interest to the railways saving the expense of laying new telephone cable and the machines were widely used until the 1930’s. Dissolved <1916. Company number 25480
