A 3 ¾ mile standard gauge line from Cambus (Stirling and Dunfermline Railway) to Alva in Clackmannanshire. It opened in 1863, merged with the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway in 1864, and amalgamated with the North British Railway in 1865.
