Arbroath and Forfar Railway Company
Incorporated on 19th May 1836
A broad gauge line (later reduced to standard gauge) running just over 15 miles from Arbroath Harbour to Forfar. It opened in 1839, leased by the Aberdeen Railway in 1845, and amalgamated with the Scottish North Eastern Railway in 1856.
