Callander and Oban Railway Company
Incorporated by Special Act on 5th July 1865
A 72 mile line extending the Scottish Central network between Callander and Oban, a scheme which the Caledonian Railway subscribed £200,000 to, and worked from 1870 onwards. It was extended with additional capital granted in 1905 and passed to the London, Midland and Scottish Group in 1923.
