Registered in Scotland in 1872 to operate a horse drawn tramway from St.George’s Cross to Eglinton Toll under a 22 year lease from Glasgow Corporation. Leased the Glasgow and Ibrox tramway and the Vale of Clyde tramway in 1893 but the line was acquired by Glasgow Corporation in 1894.
