Wick and Lybster Light Railway Company
Incorporated under the Light Railways Act of 1896.
A 13½ mile coastal line between the towns, to transport produce from the local fisheries. It opened in 1903 worked by the Highland Railway, but the decline of the harbour saw the line close by 1944.
Capital £70,833, Government Grant £25,000, loans £3,000.
