Hay Railway Company
Incorporated on 25th May 1811.
A 24 mile horse-drawn line running from the Brecknock and Abergavenny Canal in Brecon to Herefordshire. It opened in 1816 and in 1860 passed to the newly formed Hereford, Hay and Brecon Railway, the trackbeds used for construction of the new lines.
Capital £50,000 in shares and £15,000 in loans.
