North Pembrokeshire and Fishguard Railway Company
Incorporated on 7th August 1884
Originally the Rosebush and Fishguard Railway (8th August 1878) but re-named in 1884. It leased the Maenclochog Railway and extended it to Letterson, failing to reach the intended terminus of Fishguard, and so passed to the Great Western Railway in 1898, which company built the ‘Fishguard Route’ to Ireland.
Capital £90,000 in shares of £10 each, loans of £30,000. Additional £50,000 raised in 1878, and a further £72,000 in 1884.
