North Wales and Liverpool Railway Committee
Incorporated in 1896.
Formed to build the intended line of the Wirral Railway (1883). A joint committee of the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway and the Wrexham, Mold and Connah’s Quay Railway was authorised in 1889 to complete the work and was re-named as above in 1896 but the company was dissolved in 1904 when the lines passed to the Great Central Railway.
