Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Light Railway Company
Incorporated in 1909 under Light Railway Act 1896 to rebuild the Potteries, Shrewsbury and North Wales lines, owned and previously extended by the Shropshire Railways Company. The new line opened in 1911 and closed in 1933.
