Wye Valley Railway Company
Incorporated on 10th August 1866.
A 15½ mile line between Monmouth and Chepstow. It opened in 1876 and was worked and maintained by the Great Western Railway, passing to them in 1905.
Capital £230,000 in shares of £20 each, loans of £76,600. New capital raised for extensions in 1876 of £105,000 and £34,800 in loans/debenture stock.
