Northwestern Development Company
Incorporated in Maine March 1906 which included the right to purchase from John Rosene 171 placer mining claims in Alaska. The company was also to extend a Railroad from Nome, Alaska 120 miles northeast. It is organised as a subsidiary of the Northwestern Commercial Company which is controlled by J.P.Morgan, the Guggenheims and A. A. Houseman & Co. Railroad sold at a Marshalls sale in 1920 and then to the Territory of Alaska in 1922.
Capital $6,250,000 in $2,500,000 Preferred stock and $3,750,000 Common stock.
