Rock Island Southern Railroad Company
A reorganisation in 1905 of the Western Illinois Traction Company which had been incorporated in 1902 but failed after laying just 2 miles of track. In receivership on 7th July 1918, and reorganized as the Galesburg and Western Railroad on 26th November in the same year.
