President Hotel Company
Incorporated in 1929 in New Jersey to acquire the hotel on Albany Avenue and the Boardwalk in Atlantic City which was opened in 1926 as a hotel and apartments. The new company was to convert the building all hotel use. During 1942-46 it was requisitioned by the military and by the 1960’s was in serious decline and converted to apartments. Demolished in 1979 to make way for a casino which never came to fruition and the plot remains vacant (2023).
