Organised in Delaware in 1929 to operate some 10,000 miles of air routes between the U.S.A., Caribbean, South and Central America, going head on with opposition from Juan Trippe and his Aviation Company of the Americas. Eventually several routes were opened using Commodore seaplanes. Eventually forced to merge into Trippes Pan Am in 1930.
