American Fisheries Company
Formed by 1898 to acquire and consolidate 17 menhaden fishery companies operating on the East coast and Texas. Later built a large plant in Washington State. Reorganised in 1900 after loss making operations and then bankrupt by 1907 after a disastrous fire at one of the plants.
