Metropolitan Concert Company Limited
Elliot Zborowski and Rudolph Aronson built the Metropolitan on a site at Broadway and 41st Street. It was opened in 1881 as the Metropolitan Casino, followed by new lessees the following year who renamed it the Metropolitan Alcazar. In 1882 it was known as the Cosmopolitan Theatre and by 1884 the Cosmopolitan Skating Rink.
