Jamestown and Franklin Rail Road Company
Chartered in 1862 to build a line from Jamestown to Oil City, Pennsylvania with a branch line from Jamestown with Ashtabula, Ohio. Leased to the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway in 1864 for 20 years. Consolidated in 1909 with three other railroads to create the Jamestown, Franklin and Clearfield Railroad.
