Benjamin Franklin Hotel
Formed in 1923 to acquire the Continental Hotel on Chestnut street, Philadelphia which was due for demolition the following year. The new Benjamin Franklin Hotel was then constructed and opened in 1925. The Hotel closed in the 1980’s and was converted into 412 apartments as Benjamin Franklin House. Since refurbished and renamed Franklin Residences.
