San Antonio Land and Irrigation Company Limited
Incorporated in Canada in 1911 by F.S.Pearson to acquire 50,000 acres of land near San Antonio, Texas for growing cotton. Through an associate company, the Medina Irrigation Company, they planned to build a dam on the Medina River, 1240 feet long, 170 feet high and 110 wide at the base to hold 45,500,000 cubic metres of water. Filed for bankruptcy 14th November 1914.
Capital $8,000,000 in shares of $100.
